
Remote internships often come with doubts, from both students and employers. But the internship program organized by the Bucharest University of Economic Studies (ASE) and the Harghita Community Development Association (ADI Harghita) proved just how effective and rewarding this format can be.
Between February and April 2025, 31 students completed remote internships with 9 tourism organizations, working entirely online through the PREVIEW platform. Despite some initial uncertainty, the experience turned out to be highly positive. Students developed practical skills in research, digital marketing, communication, and time management, while mentors appreciated their motivation, creativity, and real contributions to ongoing projects.
The program proved that, with the right structure and support, remote internships not only work, they can truly prepare young people and organizations for the digital future.
